The Carnival”

The bright sunny day shined on the vivid colors of the carnival fare. There was a variety of attractions both big and small, and people of all ages enjoyed the timeless joy that they offered.
One child in particular stood out among the crowd. In her hand was a bright red balloon, but on her face was a heavy frown. Why was she sad? It didn’t seem to matter to the people around her, and they walked on by not noticing the little girl’s sadness.

As she trudged along, she saw the lion’s jumping through rings of fire, and circling menacingly at the man whipping at him. She smiled. And then she laughed. The act entertained her, and the crowd agreed with their cheers. But all too soon the show had ended, and the huge crowd dispersed. And once again she found herself alone, and the frown on her face started to show once more.

Despite it all, she continued onwards. For it was all too soon to go home. The day was bright, and the sky was clear. And she found herself hoping to find that happiness that she could remember, one that she would see in her dreams, and bring her once more to the brilliant carnival.

But suddenly something stopped her thoughts, and made her look up from the ground onto the face of a brightly painted clown. Hesitantly, she stepped back and found him smiling to her. He put out his hand, and she gave him his, but the clown had taken her balloon. She was confused, but he assured her with a gentle pat. He started to do his magic. Twisting and bending the balloon into dangerous shapes. She gasped as he presented to her, what was once a regular red balloon, a cute doggy. She smiled as brightly as the sun, now she wasn’t alone. And she will never be. And it seemed like the carnival became a tad brighter with a happy child her balloon doggy.

“The Arrange Marriage”

Wake up... Today is your big day… Wedding…Wedding…Wedding, it was the only sounds playing in the ear of Rhea repeatedly.

Rhea was branded as black sheep of the family. She chooses to be with friends rather than her family. She fails her classes just to have revenge on her family.

On the night of the wedding, Rhea is quivering knowing she will spend the rest of her life with a man stranger to her. Annoyed of circumstances, Rhea promised that she will make Noel`s life miserable. Every day is a nightmare for you as what Rhea shouted before leaving Noel. Despite of rudeness showed by Rhea to Noel, the latter remain to be composed and continuous to serve and fulfill his duties and responsibilities as a lawfully husband to Rhea. Days, weeks and years passed Rhea never acknowledged Noel as her husband.

One day Rhea was involved in car accident. Please save my wife...Please save my wife. This was the prayer of Noel as he pleads to the attending doctor. There’s a big chance that you’re wife can recover the doctor said to Noel.

Month later, Rhea was discharged in the hospital. Noel take good care of Rhea the best he could. Feeding Rhea, helping her bathe, prepare food and even massage the body of his wife. One day he noticed clear water continuous falling on his knees. When he looked up, tears were flowing in the face of Rhea. And a sweet, giggling voice came out from his wife. I am sorry... I’m very sorry. Despite of my shortcomings as your wife still you desire to stay with me. From now on, I promise I will be your wife. Just promise me you will never leave me just like my real parents who abandoned me.
